About

Education:
2017- 2020:
Hillgrove Secondary School

During my time at Hillgrove Secondary School (HGSS), I was a member of the Modern Dance CCA, which provided numerous opportunities to perform on stage and build my confidence while learning how to work as a team. From 2019 to 2020, I served on the EXCO Committee as part of the Welfare Team, which helped me develop my leadership skills.

Additionally, I participated in my school's immersion trip to Seoul, which gave me valuable insight into Korean culture and a glimpse of what students there do during their lessons.

Lastly, my class and I took part in Values-In-Action (VIA) Projects, where we had the opportunity to positively impact the community and environment.

2021 - 2024:
Ngee Ann Polytechnic
Diploma In Immersive Media

Being in this diploma allowed me to develop my interest in design as well as expand my knowledge of various tools and applications. During my course of study, I managed to be placed on the Director's List for excellent academic performance for my Diploma and was also awarded a certificate for outstanding performance in my first and second year for the Diploma in Immersive Media.

I was also given the opportunity to help out with my diploma's Open House in 2022 and helped my lecturer with a workshop where several of my friends and I were tasked to teach students from a Secondary School how to use the VR Headset.

In addition, I was able to work with clients such as The Doodle People, which gave me opportunities to broaden my network as well as gain valuable experiences.

Work Experience:
Jan 2021 - Mar 2021:
Cosmetic Packer, XPO Logistics

I worked as a part-time cosmetic packer at XPO Logistics from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm (Monday to Friday). It was a valuable experience as I was given the opportunity to learn more about product management and product handling.

Feb 2022 - Feb 2023:
Bubble Tea Outlet Crew, Gong Cha

From February 2022, I worked as a part-time Bubble Tea Outlet Crew at Gong Cha during my semester break and after school hours. It was an enjoyable learning experience that allowed me to acquire new skills such as tea-making, cashier operation, and learning how to make a variety of drinks following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Although I would say it is a little more stressful during peak hours, I was able to improve my time management skills and ensure that I did not overwork myself while balancing both school and work responsibilities.

Travelling:
Being able to travel allowed me to explore the world and discover new things. In 2018, my family and I traveled to Europe with a tour group, and it was a beautiful sight to see snow during our trip.

In 2019, I had the opportunity to participate in an immersion trip to Seoul, South Korea, organized by my secondary school. During the trip, we were paired with students from Samgaksan Middle School and had an enriching cultural exchange.

During that same year, my family and I traveled to Taiwan in December, where we explored various night markets and hiked up Elephant Mountain to appreciate the scenic view.

Overall, I enjoyed my travel experiences as I was able to taste new food and appreciate the beautiful scenery of other countries that I would not be able to see in Singapore.
