UI/UX
This page of my portfolio showcases some of my UI/UX works from various projects created during my projects. Here you can find proposals and/or demos for different applications which explains the reasoning and how it improves user experience.
01 Foodie's Island

About:
The project involved creating a prototype for a food-themed application, with a focus on user experience. The application aims to offer users cheaper delivery options and multiple opportunities to earn rewards such as discounts, promotions, and vouchers. The technologies used for designing the prototype were Figma and Procreate. The prototype aims to showcase the interface and features of the application, providing a visual representation of how users can navigate and interact with the various features.

02 Mirror Wizard

About:
The project involved developing "Mirror Wizard," a desktop or mobile game where players must navigate through obstacles and strategically teleport to reach the blue ball target at each level. The game utilized the WASD keys for character movement, while the space bar allowed the character to teleport to the opposite side. The game challenged users' strategic thinking and required quick reactions to avoid enemies. Additionally, the project involved designing and prototyping a game controller to enhance the gaming experience with the use of Makey Makey. The project aimed to provide an engaging and interactive gaming experience for the users.

03 Lost Hope

About:
The project was created by my team and me, featuring a 3D game where players embark on quests while avoiding enemies. The game's storyline revolves around an illustrator named Domi, who becomes frustrated with a lack of inspiration while working on an illustration featuring his main character in a strange village. After falling asleep, Domi awakens to find himself trapped inside his own artwork. To escape, he must gather survival items and construct a boat. However, the villagers he encounters appear suspicious, and players will uncover their true intentions and hidden secrets throughout the game.

We have conducted user testing to find out how we can improve our application better, and what are some of the user's challenges and questions that they faced while playing the game.

04 Festiva

About:
The project was created by my team and me, featuring a VR game called "Festiva" with the theme of "The Little Red Dot." The goal of the game was to provide an immersive experience that educates players about the various festivals celebrated in Singapore. The game aimed to showcase the celebrations of the four major races in Singapore: Chinese, Malay, Indians, and Others. Through this VR experience, players would have the opportunity to learn and appreciate different cultures.

A feature we have implemented in this game to enhance user experience would be the language feature. Players can switch between English, Chinese, Malay, and Hindu. This would help players who prefer to play the game in another language or players who are not proficient in a language to switch to another language.

In addition, we have also ensured that colors are vibrant and contrasting, to ensure that users who are color-blind are able to differentiate the objects much more easily.
